This weekend and for the next couple of days I am up north in Bishop Auckland at the moment.
Yesterday I had a Chocally stall at Sunderland Museum & Winter Garden and was lovely meeting such sweet and talented people.
I love sharing the Chocally love and like seeing the reactions from new people, with the hope they enjoy the chocolate treats :)
I met a very talented hand woven fabric maker Laura Parkin who makes incredible fine quality fabrics and makes lovely handmade purses and scarves with it. Such lovely Unique gifts.
The event was part of Daisy Green's Craft Markets and I shall be joining in another of their events on the 24th of November at Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead. Plenty more Chocally Christmas treats will be available on this next event.
Today was a very special day. It was the Christening day of my beautiful baby Niece; Little Maisy. I am so very proud to be her Auntie and God Mummy of the little sweetheart. It's unreal how fast she is growing and changing every minute.
Look at the beautiful sweetie.
I was busy making a few Pink chocolate teddies for the day and had to treat Mummy and Daddy too. I wonder what Maisy will think when she tries the chocolate goodies. I always wonder what baby's taste buds will be like when they grow up. I wonder what tastes Maisy will like and what she wont. Will she have a sweet tooth? ... probably so :) ... She Must if shes part of the Higginbottom family (and if shes anything like me then for sure)
Looking forward to another day in the Toon tomorrow followed by lovely illuminations and a beach walk over near Sunderland.
I shall savor these few days up here before I get back to lots more festive chocolate making.
