I have been blessed to have seen these beautiful creatures whilst volunteering in Malta. The males are such a striking and confident looking bird. It was one misty morning when the sun had risen. A delightful sight of 4 male and 3 female Red-footed Falcons all sitting on a telephone wire, warming up, getting ready to take to flight for their onward migration journey.
